Hi ,
I will be joining University of maryland as a student and will be coming to college park. The reputation of university excited me but the crime scene and the information about the city is very depressing.
I am looking for the apartment with my wife in the range of 800$. Will you guys help me out with the place to live where the location is safe and rent is also suitable.
Appreciate your help................

Default Studio will do....

Yes I know that getting any apartment in $ 800 is really a difficult task. What about studio? I think this is workable range for studio... Is studios common in these areas or I will have to go for 1 bed room apartment....

apartmentguide.com or even washingtonpost.com look in the classified section. Some privately owned buildings advertise there. Goodluck! It's too expensive... $800 probably won't include utilities either... When I first moved off campus I moved as far a Chillum for an affordable place, but you have to have a car or like taking the bus.

At those prices you can only find in Baltimore/Baltimore County....

The crime is not bad and you won't even be close to wear all that goes down at anyways.
