Hi all!

Trying to get an idea of the commute time to DC. Drive time from Centreville (I-66) to Metro at Vienna? Then time on the Metro to Foggy Bottom?

Your drive time will totally depend on the time of day you are leaving. You could probably do it in about 30 minutes if traffic isn't heavy.

Metro from Vienna to Foggy Bottom is about 30 minutes, I think. That's kind of a guess. Someone who rides that train every day might have a better idea.

Mississippi Magnolia is correct - the drive time to Vienna Metro is totally dependent on time of day.

I-66 is a difficult corridor at rush hour. There are HOV-2 inside (far left) lanes, but they don't seem to help much. If you use these, you can probably make it in 15 minutes. Otherwise, expect 30 minutes.

Metrorail to Foggy Bottom is just under 30 minutes.
