Is there a food that DC is known for? Philly has their cheesesteaks, NY has pizza, Baltimore has crabcakes...what's DC known for?

Mambo Sauce, thats the only thing I can think of. It usually comes with fried chicken wings at carryouts or on the side.

HALF SMOKES!!

Possibly crab cakes but that's also very much a Maryland/Chesapeake thing so lots of people claim it as well.
