Our dog did it's business too.
Sometimes it was on the shoes of players from opposing teams.
I remember when the four corners of (18th & Columbia) Adams Morgan had a Mc D's (still there), Burger King, Eddie Leonards and a Riggs Bank. There were hardly any restaurants and clubs. Mayor Fenty's parents owned Fleet Feet (moved to Columbia Road) where the Diner is now standing and there was an "Up Against the Wall" clothing store next door.
On Columbia Road, there was a Giant right next door to the Safeway.
