Hello,
I am looking to move around Van Dorn Metro area in Alexandria area and not very fimiliar with what kind of area that is. I have driven around the area couple times , but couldnt really get a feel of how safe or unsafe that area is. I will be walking (3 mins) to the Metro during business hours.

can some 1 who is familiar with that area give me a low down on this area please

Its a fine area. I dont forsee you have any problems if you're walking to that metro station particularly during the day.
