I don't understand why the mayor would be willing to be arrested for a cause that wants to prevent underpriviledged kids from having the best educational opportunities possible via the school voucher program. I guess he wants them to keep attending inadequate schools. He didn't exactly encourage Michelle Rhee, the revolutionary queen of education reform, to stay on, did he?

I doubt it will accomplish much, but it's a new approach at least. I'm sick of Eleanor Holmes Norton. She hasn't accomplished anything meaningful in twenty years. It's time to try something new.
