50.7% Black (2010 Census). But I too only see like roughly that percentage of Black people whenever I used to volunteer at the Zoo. Some are probably locals but a majority are most likely tourists and out-of-towners. I'm African American myself and grewed up in Inner-Beltway PG, and I used to enjoy going to the Zoo AND the National Mall all the time!
