Agreed and it would be interesting to know if the customer's bathroom is also the only bathroom in the restaurant. Some places share bathrooms with the customers, which is important to note in this case.

You should travel to some foreign countries to see how well we have it in the US. I've been in Thailand working for the last 10 days and in Bangkok for the majority of the time. The food vendors next to our very nice hotel have some excellent looking foods. But look closely and you notice not a single bathroom anywhere to be found. I know the locals eat here and I imagine their stomachs have become used to but I just couldn't bring myself to eat there.

People need to stop comparing the U.S. to developing countries and then patting ourselves on the back for being slightly better. We should hold ourselves to a higher standard.
