My husband and I are movin to DC with a two-month-old baby on Dec. 15th, '07. My husband's office is on wisconsin Ave. N.W. 20007. We'd like a 3 bedroom-apartment or townhouse in a friendly neighborhood, of course ,there should be some grocery stores n restaurants nearby. oh, we perfer fully-furnished house. The rent shouldn't be more than 2600 per month. I would appreciate your suggestions n reccomendation about where we should stay (is Arlington nice?) n some good housing gencies? a house with only 15-20 mins to my husband's office by car would be a great choice!

thank you

20007 means Georgetown up to about the Cathedral. The neighborhoods close in are Georgetown ($$), Glover Park, Burleith, Cathedral and then slightly further you could look at Cleveland Park, AU Park / Tenleytown, Foxhall, Palisades ($$), Kent ($$) Spring Valley ($$$). Those would be your quickest options as they are in the city and you are not going to have to deal with a Bridge.

If you want to jump the Bridge, Rosslyn, Courthouse and Clarendon might all be within your 15 minute range (I'll have to defer to others re: the Key Bridge / M Street traffic & times).

I'd start searching Craigslist for some of those neighborhood names. If you have the x000 block of Wisconsin we can narrow down to exactly what neighborhood he will be working in, but really the 20007 zip code is not very large.
