I used to go to SomePlace Else all the time. I even had a fake Id and got busted when I was 17 bcuz smitty the bartender knew me from the airmans pool on Bowling AFB and knew I was under age. Nevertheless turned 18 an kept going back. White rock band called, oh yea, the Rubber Band, played there. My best friend to this day is married to the keyboard player in that band. My friend from jr. high, Candy Hoffman, painted the neon psychodellc images in that club. Geez, I'm almost 70 what a throw back. Thanks Jmking

I am 66, and grew up in Oxon HIll, but am not familiar with that club. This forum has mostly very young people. I would recommend you check out these other sites

I remember SOMEPLACE ELSE CLUB like it was yesterday...Was stationed in Indian Head, Md. and was there every Friday in 67/68 and I do remember the RUBBER BAND. Smitty was the bartender and Don was the manager. Boy: talk about bringing back some good memories.

Default SomePlace Else Club

I am 90 years old now and used to work at SomePlace Else Club with Mr. Ed Fence and Ed Timmon. I miss them and wonder where they are at today.
