What do you think are the best places to rent in Washington & also within walking distance of the Orange Line Metro and/or Metro Center? Budget is $1900-$2700.
Is that $1900 for a house a 1 bedroom? When I think orange line I think Arlington places like Ballston, Clarendon, Courthouse. These are extremely expensive areas to live.
Or you can live in the District. Capitol Hill is a little more reasonable. You should be able to get a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment for that price on the Hill. The cheapest ad for a one bedroom on the Hill I've seen was $1350 but I've also seen ads for 1 bedrooms at $2K. So it can vary. English basements tend to be a little cheaper.
Either way good luck.
