I was walking back from the Safeway on 17th and saw tons of police, ambulance, witnesses, etc. From my eavesdropping I heard there was one victim, maybe one or two perpetrators, and a gun was involved. Not sure if the victim survived but they caught at least one of the perps. Anyone have any info?

Armed robbery...4 B/Ms in a car jumped out and mugged someone. I received a DCPD alert about it just a few minutes ago.

Nope, you can sign up to have DCPD updates ent to you via email. I'm still debatign whether it's a good thing or not to know about every crime that goes down in the neighborhood.

Notice how the WaPo rarely covers crime in Northwest? Probably don't want to scare the gentrifiers away. On another note, I noticed something around 1pm that day going on at Mass and 16th. Looked like the police had a plastic barrier across 16th down there. Couldn't tell what it was from P Street. don't think it was a marathon though.
