I am going to be working in Washington, DC this summer and have subleased an apartment near the Van Ness Metro. My building has parking but its quite expensive. Does anyone know what the rates are for street parking generally (assuming I go through the process of getting the sticker and all that)?
Are there any areas I can park on the street nearby without needing the permit?
I am commuting to Baltimore for work daily (its only 11 weeks and I wanted to live in DC!) - so I figured I should bring a car in case the MARC is just totally dysfunctional - how serious of a possibility is this though?
Sorry for all the questions, but was hoping a local could provide some insight!
