My wife and I are taking a vacation to the pacific north west. Interested in the Olympia Peninsula to mill around in for a few days. Any suggestions on things to do or see in this area or surrounding? We're up for whatever. Enjoy the outdoors but can do the museum/shopping thing too. Thanks.

Take the time to go to Neah Bay and hike the short trail to Cape Flattery. Also check out the Makah museum while you are there

I appreciate the suggestions. Thank you. Are there any places that rent specialty vehicles like a 4dr jeep wrangler?

and of course Olympic National Park - Visiting the Hoh Rain Forest (U.S. National Park Service)

I personally don't know of a rental for ORV / Jeep. Most of the Olymipcs is 'wilderness' or 'set-aside' (NPS / NF) . I'm sure there are exceptions that I'm not aware of. I just hear of folks 'packing in'.

If you get to the south end on a rainy day, Astoria has a fine Maritime museum.

After a couple minutes of searching
