The subdivision I'm in has very hard water. Just turning the water on even for a few seconds leave hard water stains every where.

Does anyone own a Kinetico and can offer their experience? From price to ownership to ease of use etc.

If you do not own a Kinetico, what do you have and do you recommend it?

Are you on your own well or a community well for the subdivision?

We are on our own well and have hard water and a whole-house water softener, but not that brand. It's a Water-Right Impression Plus. Ours has a couple canister filters of some kind and a salt tank. We bought it about two years ago now, to replace the older model that was here when we bought the place. It wasn't cheap! We bought it after having the water tested by our local well drilling and maintenance company, and they installed it. Happy with how it has worked.

Definitely do not have my own well. Source is from Fruitland Water if that helps.

I think you can still install the same kind of whole house system. You'd want to have the water tested to determine what kind of system you need. Makes all the difference what all you're filtering for.
