On the Spokane news last night: Washington is discussing getting rid of the military donated equipment that their police use because it escalates violence.

I'm just here to make a an offer. When you decide to get rid of your SWAT vans and body armor, and silenced rifles, you don't have to throw them in the garbage. Idaho will take them. That is ecologically sound to repurpose. It's good for the environment.

We could probably take all those police dogs, too, since you don't seem to think they should be used any more because they bite criminals.

??? Like that ever worked. I don't see any mention of this on the interwebs so hopefully it's just idle talk. But the ultra-left crazies have done some awfully stupid things here on the wet side of the state, CHAZ being one example.

Only the violent get violent and the police are not them.

I find cops here peaceful because they don't flash their sirens unless necessary. You may never know a crime happened next door because they're discreet. It has the upside and downside. The CHAZ was obviously an impeachable offense what the residents had to live with, standing down to anarchists.
