Extreme continental desert climate with highs in the low 100s in summer and average temperatures in the 20s in winter with high sunshine year round, almost no precipitation and low humidity year round. Milder shoulder seasons than Prince Rupert.
Near subarctic oceanic climate with cool temperatures year round and extremely high rainfall concentrated in fall and winter and very low sunshine totals in winter. Milder summers and winters than Turpan.
Turpan is one of the feel places in the world were it averages 15 C, but is below freezing in winter. Normally a 15 C average is sufficient to be subtropical.
But I'll take Prince Rupert, cool and less extreme.
Both of them suck, but if I was forced at gunpoint to choose one, I would choose Turpan
Prince Rupert is always too cool for me, but the winters are better
Turpan is WAY too cold in the winter and Way too hot in the summer
But at least in Turpan there are probably a few weeks in the spring and fall where I can go outside and be confortable, and can probably be confortable during summer nights
Well at least Turpan has 2 months (April & October) that are relatively comfortable, and the warmest month in Prince Rupert is still below 20C.
