From one of the best meteorologists out there that doesnt add hype to the equation.

Steve DiMartino released his Winter 2011-2012 outlook for premium members this morning.

He says its 91 Pages Long

"There’s a lot to talk about this morning! In the Severe Threat Analysis I discuss the threats developing for the middle and later part of this week. Is snow really going to develop for the northern Mid Atlantic? I provide the answers and explanations on what the model guidance is showing. Plus, Tropical Storm Rina is born and is a threat for southern Florida. I discuss the potential of Rina and the future track of this tropical storm.

Of course though, the big news is all about the Winter Forecast which is now available for all Premium Members. You can find the forecast in the Long Range Discussion, actually you can’t miss it. This year’s forecast has 91 pages packed with data and reasoning for what I expect this winter, and so give you an appetizer, let me drop a small hint. This year, there will be more than one jet stream to contend with this winter."

Havent been following him long enough but I do know his storm forecasts dont hype and he's not bias towards one solution. he always calls winds dead on too.

For instance one storm even NWS and other meteos said they would gust to 45+ and he said there was no way and mentioned 30mph at most. for NYC metro. he explained why and its Exactly what happened.
