London at 9pm on end of may.

So about two hours after it is dark there it is still light outside here.

Here's a picture shot from my appartment in Mid June, time was 10:49 PM, so about 50 minutes after sunset.

It's really fascinating how long it stays bright outside during that time of year.

Yeah.

But its like that here to about 11:30.

This is the darkest it gets all night. Picture was at 1:08am

But on the day (5/29/13) sunset in london was 21:05, civil dusk 21:50, nautical dusk 22:56, astronomical twilight all night long. according to timeanddate. Maybe the time used was UTC standard time, not the summer time.

Yes. But more extreme example, in western China and western Alaska, 3pm is still "morning" in the summer!!!
Contrastly, in NE Greenland, 10.30am is already "afternoon" in the winter!!

No it wasn't its always dark there before shnset here in sumemr.

It should really be on gmt.

Here in the equator 50 mins after sunset is roughly the end of nautical twilight
