That's exactly what it looks like, and the sun is incredibly harsh. I'll make sure to take a picture on solar noon on summer solstice for you, hopefully it's sunny lol (one never knows in June).
Though even right now with the 81 degree sun angle, doesn't look that different from summer solstice.
I imagine the sun is directly overhead 9 degrees south of me, so at about 16-17 degrees N?
Would be interesting to take a drive down to Key West on the solstice, they're only a half degree off from having direct overhead sun on the solstice.
