im so jealous of france weather right now! its not often to have 25 -27c weather in july in uk, yet alone in april
It seem they already have reached 29°C in the Basque country at 13h30. This afternoon they should be around 32°C in Dax I think.
Well, where I am in the Loire Valley the weather still is very oceanic, with temperatures can be changing quite rapidly, even in summer. Last year we had alternances of heatwaves (around 30°C, with even one day at 39°C last August), with long very cool periods (around 20/22°C). In the mediterranean south thay have more assurance to get hot temperatures all summer long. Usually the coast along the Manche (English Channel for you) do no have real heatwaves like it can happen elsewhere in the country.
Maybe not in the Midlands, but in the SE those temps would be nothing out of the ordinary in July.
It's mostly cloudy and 19C here after an evening thunderstorm and high of 28C.
high of 28°C in London, really?? Well, in my weather reports is seems that the temerature is now 13°C in London, I doubt it will have a high of 28°C...
