I'd like to see what you hope will happen weather wise in 2012.

Speaking for myself, a summer with some proper high pressure spells and frequent warm sunny days, with 5-10 days or more reaching 25°C / 77°F, and at least 4-5 days with some decent thunderstorm activity.

I'd like to see the temperature of 30°C / 86°F reached in Buxton; on average this happens once every 20 years or so, so I won't hold my breath. Also, a convectively active spring with lots of hail/thunder and changeable weather.

I hope 2012 will also be the one of the warmest on record but this time, thanks to a very warm late spring/summer and not a silly pattern like a very warm april and october but crap summer.

What about in your locations?

In the current pattern...a cold and snowy February and March, and a chilly April.

A below average summer would be nice too.

None of these are likely to happen though.

A not-super-unbearable-hot-summer.

But it wont happen, of course. 35 celsius today already and its getting worse, so....

i will pray for a rainy, coolish, unstable february and a windy, rainy, with temps 5 c below average march.

I know january will be hot so i dont even bother.

I'd like to see a cold end to January, a cold, snowy February and a chilly Spring.. I want summer to have a lot of thunderstorms delivering lots of rain and large hail.. and I want autumn to have a lot of rain in the 100'smm to bring our rainfall back to average.. it will take a lot of rain to do that

Extremely mild winter for Texas..., bananas are still half green even in the cold suburbs of Houston

Not much snow, another early march melt like 2 years ago.

Lots of sun, average rainfall.

A sunny spring in Nice.

In 6 months or so, I will possibly be working in Hong Kong, so I'm hoping for a lot of sunshine there

I wish for warm, or at least, warmer than average, February, March, April, May and June. And much less snow obviously Something similar to winter 09-10 and spring 10 would be nice. I don't care that much about the rest of the year, so normal conditions for these other months would be fine.
