Accidentally voted for Long Beach. I prefer Seville because of the hot, Mediterranean inland summers (although I like the low annual precip. of Long Beach). But I'd take any of the three.

It was a toss-up to me between Perth and Long Beach. Seville doesn't have as much as an advantage to me in its extra heat in summer and extra seasonality (though I like a bit of seasonality).

I picked Perth as I thought it was still sunny (probably even more so than I desire) despite being rainier and rain is kind of refreshing in a climate that would already be pleasant in sun/temperatures. This was my main reason as temperatures are close to my preferences in both Long Beach and Perth (maybe the somewhat greater seasonality of Perth might be less boring, while still in the range of enjoyable). Even though I normally dislike rainy seasons especially with those where it rains more than half the days in a month, Perth's rainy season doesn't seem to cut out too much of the sun hours, unlike say many of the monsoon climates.

It's interesting that of these Mediterranean climates, Seville, the one that's located in Europe itself, has the hottest summer, despite being highest latitude of the three (though maybe being slightly inland relative to the others explains it all).

Perth.

Long Beach is nice, but too dry. I like warm winters, but Perth and Long Beach still have the same lows, so they're kinda equal.

Misty/foggy winters

I think I'll go with Perth... warmer SSTs clinch it for me too...

Perth too, it has a very nice rainfall/sunshine ratio. Long Beach is quite arid and seems very boring too. Seville's summers are over the top.

Perth - Long Beach is too boring, Seville's summers are too hot.

I must admit Perth has "cooler" summers and wetter winters than I realized. I thought average summer highs were around 95 F for some reason.

Perth gets some pretty severe heatwaves though.

Never been to Perth but I know the cliamtes of the other 2 well. Seville can be like an inferno in Summer and always feels much warmer than Long Beach for most of the year. Long Beach has nicer winters though. Much more to do in Seville, a better comparison would have been San Diego vs Seville vs Perth.

Long Beach winter and Seville summer.

I'm surprised compared with Perth,
Seville has cold winters and is a touch cloudier year-round.
