Those stats bring the anomalies home, so to speak. Neat.

Some others, further north:

The average temperature in International Falls (38.2F) was roughly equal to the average temperature for March for Des Moines (but not Des Moines airport), 490 miles to the south.

The average temperature in Winnipeg for March (36F) was roughly equal to the average temperature for March for Sioux City, IA, over 500 miles south of it.

The average temperature for Red Lake, Ontario - the "end of the road" or northernmost site accessible in the province - was 32F, equivalent to an average March in Estherville, Iowa, about the same distance from Winnipeg to Sioux City.

The abnormal warmth in March ended at a certain point north which is hard to find given the low density of weather stations in Manitoba and especially far northern Ontario. Thompson reported a monthly mean temperature of only 6F above normal.

This March was pretty much equivalent to an average April here. Or it was about the same as an average March in Richmond, VA - 370 miles south.

This past winter was almost equivalent to an average winter in the DC/VA/MD region.

March in Richmond, VA (58.3 F) was only 1 cooler than the normal March average in Savannah, GA…450 miles to the south.

March in Savannah, GA (66.9 F) was only 1 cooler than the normal March average in Orlando, FL…300 miles to the south.

I found some data for Canadian locations further north...

Armstrong, Ontario (50.3N) was about average for a typical Suring, Wisconsin March, 370 miles to the south.

Landsdowne House, Ontario (52.3N) was +0.3F above a typical Brimson, Minnesota March, 380 miles to the south.
