We're up to 36.2 hours. Much higher than southern England. Looks like the tables have turned, mwahaha*



*Not that I'm bothered mind you, but it's a different perspective to 'it's grim oop north'

I'm interested in seeing it continue myself. At the present time, we can fairly say it's grim down south .

We have had 8 straight days of cloud cover, not including today which is yet again cloudy. Maybe a couple days had an hour here or there of sun. I don't remember this many cloudy days in a row for a long time. So I would say maybe 5 hours of sun so far. Gotta love the extremes we get in these continental climates. Not!

Actually, your May average (last 30 years) is a bit better than that, at about 141 hrs. However this month's tally will probably not look too flash in a week's time.
