An unusual criterion, but it seems to work as the limit to warmth, at least for the thermophiles among us. Even I will admit that 69F for an average high isn't much of a summer, even if the nights aren't warm.

Yes, very unusual indeed, all of the UK would get a resounding F from George, with the possible exception of the London area.

All of UK deserves a resounding F from anybody that enjoys anything resembling a summer.

This part of the UK looks really beautiful. Bet the area has some really nice beaches as well. Not really my kind of summer weather as it is on the cool side. I like the winter though. Those winter temps are cold enough to get a taste of winter without biting, freezing cold.

I'd say probably a C. If it got more sun I'd say C+.

Then you should give this climate an F because summers at Teignmouth are even cooler than here in northern England.

Funnily enough, I do enjoy summer here.

I can see why, it appears to recieve a decent amount of sunshine compared to the rest of the year...and to other places in England. the only reason I didnt give it an F.

I'll be generous and give it a C-. Summers are much cooler than I'd like but at least this place get's a bit more sunshine than what is typical for UK - which is not saying much. But summers appear dry and not overly cloudy (I don't mind dryness when temps are this low).

I give it a C because there is not much difference between summer and winter.

E for Teignmouth. I give London a D and this one is noticeably worse in my books, especially considering the summer average highs.
Btw I would have loved to experience the summer relative dryness and sunniness when I was there.

C-. low sunshine detracts from this climate.

Perhaps Mediterranean climate summers, would be better defined by he amount of rain days rather than rainfall totals. Teignmouth gets low summer totals, but still has an average of 7 days of rainfall per month.
