Record high: 34.4°C
Record low: 5.9°C
Sunshine hours: 2286 hours
Uberlandia is located on an a small island at 25°N surrounded by a cold ocean current. It's fairly wet year round with rain mostly coming down in short bursts except for the months of November - February where it's more of a drizzle type rain. Blue dome and fully overcast days are rare with most days a mix of sun and cloud. Thunderstorms are not too common due to the cold ocean current with perhaps only about 10 or so per year mostly in the summer months.
I rank this climate a solid "B" due to the overall mild climate but loses points for never getting truly hot in the summer and is also a bit too cloudy and rainy for my tastes.
Hong Kongish winters, Sydney summers...Nothing too exciting but nothing really bad either. I appreciate that the record low is quite high, but all seasons are too cool for my tastes, yet a 13°C avg low in January is not that bad...Overall too wet. Sunshine is OK but could be higher especially with those wimpy temps.
B. looks like a nice comfortable climate with decent summers. The lows really bump up the score. Looks ideal for growing most types of palm trees and tropical vegetation, except maybe coconut palms?
That actually would be a very likely climate of a hypothetical island off the coast of northern NSW.
I guess this is a different take on the tropical-type climate patterns. It's a leg up from Singapore, but it still gets an F from me. It's too hot year-round. The winters would be too warm for me even if they were summers.
On the plus side, the sunshine total is pretty good, being actually tolerable . That's a change compared to some recent climates.

It's a subtropical-type not tropical. A true tropical climate would have a mean of 18°C every month (Koppen's definition), while a subtropical climate lacks consistent hot weather. This affects the growth of heat loving plants. It doesn't really have the heat of most tropical climates. It's type is more similar to Sydney or Norfolk Island.

Aren't the summers of your dream climate warmer than the winters here?
Anyhow, I give this climate an A-. Summer lows could be cooler and highs somewhat warmer. But overall good.

I know that - I was referring more to the consistent warmth and the precipitation pattern, as well as the mix of sun and clouds (Singapore has that sort of sunshine pattern).

During the day, yes. There's a bigger difference at night - summer mornings in my dream climate are around 5C, not 13C.
