My ideal summer would be somewhere it always reaches 100 F/38 C at least once every year, without fail.
I would like it if the humidity is always under 55% when ambient is 100+ F.
I'd also like humidity under 60% when ambient is 95 F, and under 65% with ambient at 90 F.
Most hotter climates can accomodate this,
but I assume this would exclude some of the muggier summer climates; fine by me.
Dunno really, it's pretty warm here today (26C), and seems about right for me. But then, 26C is 8C above average for Buxton.
My ideal summer temps would be something comfortable, like a high of 30C, and a mild, not cold, low of about 20C, with scattered clouds, mostly sunny (8-10 hours per day).
Highs in the 70s and 80s with reasonable thunderstorm activity and some humidity (in the 50-70% range) an occasional 90+ degree day and also an occasional day that it dosent get out of the 60s.

Yeah, pretty much anything north of 40N is good.....even though Boone, NC has an awesome summer for it's latitude (it's at 3400 ft in elevation).
Wow I just checked their stats and they do have a nice climate, considering it's in North Carolina! I really should get down to the mountains in North Carolina and Tennessee one of these days. Whenever I think of North Carolina, all that comes to mind is the extremely hot and humid weather on the I-95 side!
Compared to NW New Jersey, we're only 2° F cooler on average than Boone. And their summers are cooler than here.
My ideal summer would be temps never getting above 85F. Mostly in the 60's and 70's. Dew Points never above 60F.
I pretty much agree with this, although I would prefer highs to stay in the 70s. But hey, either is magnitudes better than the summer I'm currently stuck in!
Most days in the 90's with days in the 100's & 80's too. Lows are in the mid-70's and above. A strong thunderstorm every other day, which knocks the temp down about 10 degrees and the sun comes back out.
Not Dry heat, East/Gulf coast type heat.
