Sydney's winters, like its summers, gets both high humidity and dryness.
It's "humid cold" between the months of May and June, to at least early July. You would expect foggy conditions, morning dew and more rain events.
Mid-July to early September is "dry cold" - We mainly get arid westerly winds (that suck the moisture out of your throat) and even a chance of the odd dust storm.
It bounces between humid and dry cold here in my city. It all depends on which way the wind is blowing, literally. If it's from the north, it's gonna be pretty dry. South, pretty humid (and mild)
Humid cold both in Ioannina and Serres. And especially in Ioannina. Very humid conditions. Fog is very common in winter, almost every day. If you walk at the morning or at night your hair become quite wet just because the humidity is always >90%. Rainfalls are also very common and generally the city is gloomy. I think that this kind of cold is the worst. I can 't stand it. I don 't know how to dress to deal with it. I always feel cold in my bones even if I wear a coat. Serres is also humid in winter but humidity is more bearable. If north winds blow in both cities the cold is dry but winds are strong so you feel that it is really cold again but I prefer it from humid cold.
Mostly humid damp cold.
Dry cold in winter only occurs here when a northeastern/eastern wind is present, bringing cold and dry continental air from Northern Russia. Unfortunately this is rare and does not even occur every winter.
A mix. The average humidity for winter is around 65%, so some days could remain above 90% all day and other sunny days with morning frost can go as low as 30%.
My winters have a cold of the "non-existent" variety.
