I definitely prefer the majority of winter to be average or below average, but the odd warm day can be interesting. It was quite surreal experiencing a 60 F morning in December a few years ago.

Warm winter days always feel odd with the low sun angle.
I like interesting, but not too extreme. "Unusual" as in things like Snowtober and Sandy, heck no! But like a 60 degree day in January or July are interesting to experience. It's never been that cold here in July though as far as I can remember, so I have yet to know what it feels like, but plenty of times it's been 60 in January. This past year it was! And yes, it does feel quite weird when you have a warm day and the sun is low in the sky and rises late and sets early. Just feels odd to me.
I like it as long as it is cold weather in January, wich would be the most unusual among the unusual things (that and snowing in winter! i like them both).
I like variety and would not be happy in just one temperature. I remember raking the yard on one Chicago Christmas in 60 degree weather. I even enjoyed a couple of 100 degree days at the beach, but it was relentless and too long of a hot spell. I'm ready for a nice blizzard and a cup of hot chocolate. I'd love to be snowed in for a couple of days, just not at work like last time.
I like unusually wet, cloudy and cold months. Also ECLs (East Coast Lows) with prolonged heavy rain and southerly gales. Would like to see snow fall but that is very unlikely here.
Yes, like heavy winds that make the clouds look like they're twirling and almost falling from the sky. Also hail and dust. They're unusual weather, but more "amusing" actually.
Yes ! Also because the weather here is really stable and predictable usually.
I particularly enjoy actual winter cold, heavy snow and temperature swings in fall / spring. A blizzard or a cold wave (say, between -15 and -5c would be a serious one here) would be more interesting than 3 months of 2c/6c temperatures without any proper cold. I also like super mild weather in january if it's followed by cold. This year we had a saturday with 18c, then a heavy snowfall, that was pretty cool.
A good week of 23/38c weather in july / august in fine by me as well.
Not really into cool (20c) weather in the summer, except if it's only a couple of days here and there.
I like the higher possibility of stable warm/hot summers here compared to France, but I sometimes miss the rapid changing weather I had, like the possibility to go from 25c to 13c in one day or vice versa (in spring and fall).
