I'm giving this one a D+. Too hot and humid for this coldie. Even though it's in my region of the country. For now.

Via Wikipedia:

Montgomery has a humid subtropical climate (Köppen Cfa), with short, mild winters, warm springs and autumns, and long, hot, humid summers. Winter temperatures average 46.6 °F (8.1 °C) in January, and lows rarely dip below 20 °F (−6.7 °C). Summer temperatures average 81.8 °F (27.7 °C) in July, with highs exceeding 90 °F (32.2 °C) on 81 days per year and 100 °F (37.8 °C) on 3. Summer afternoon heat indices are frequently at or above 100 degrees. Differences between daytime and nighttime temperatures tend to be large in spring and autumn.

January: High 58, Low 36
April: High 77, Low 52
July: High 93, Low 72
October: High 79, Low 54

Rainfall is well-distributed throughout the year, though January through March are the wettest, and October is significantly drier than the other months. Snowfall occurs only during some winters, and even then is usually light. Substantial snowstorms are rare, but do occur approximately once every 10 years. Extremes range from −5 °F (−20.6 °C) on February 13, 1899 to 107 °F (41.7 °C) on July 7, 1881.

Il give it a C-.

Summers must be bad with highs over 90 and high humidity.

Precipitation is a bit high if it is distributed like that.

Record lows much too low also.

I prefer summer temps around low 80 degrees.

Winter is also too cold for my liking, sunshine hours a bit low.

C+ ... The averages are pretty decent, but it has the same flaws the rest of the south has: slightly too hot summers, slightly too cool winters, and far too unpredictable a cool season that's vulnerable to arctic air ( given that February is decently warm for a winter month, it's crazy that its record low is ten degrees colder than Alesund, Norway's is ).

B. It sounds pretty ideal to me. I like hot weather during the summertime but hate it during the Fall, Winter and spring.

For my preferences, most days of the year have a few hours that I like.

I was in Alabama in late-October and froze my butt off immediately after sunset, (< 55 F temps )
except one night when it was raining.
I assume I would dislike Montgomery's non-summer season.

Slightly too hot and too humid in the summer, and somewhat too wet overall. Other than that, pretty decent. B
