Do crickets live during the summer outside the houses in Minneapolis? It has warmer summers than here, so probably yes.

I like it. I don't understand why everyone says it's too hot? I'm sure it's humid and muggy in the summer, but the average daytime high in July is 83 F. That's cooler than New York City, let alone truly hot-weather cities like Atlanta, Houston, New Orleans, etc. that have average July daytime highs in the 90s (with high humidity).

It's nowhere near being hot in the summer. Yes it can get hot, but the averages are just warm. Hot is 90F/32C+

Winters are perfect. Way better then Chicago's. The anchor seasons are not good though.... Way too chilly. I give Minneapolis a D+/C-.

An average July in Minneapolis is warmer than the warmest ever here, and only marginally cooler than an average July in Rome. So yes, Minneapolis is hot. But is it too hot - no.

Way too cold for too long, but very nice summers and sunshine.

You'd definitely hear crickets chirping there when it's warm, as you would in much of North America as well.

My biggest complaint is the humidity in the summer.
