Synopsis: Warm start, 77/25C on 10/3; then cool with some foggy days; warm again 10/9-10 and 10/12-10/13, with the latter recording low dewpoint; a cold front moves in the late evening of the 13th and brings with it foggy, cool conditions and rain; seasonable and dry after the 16th with a chill on the 22nd bring a deep frost with a low of 22F/-6C; then a dramatic warm-up on 10/25 through 10/30 with heavy SW gusts up to 40 mph and temperatures reaching 30C on the 28th; afternoon thunderstorms on the 29th; afternoon severe T-storms on the 30th with a dramatic cool-down following afterwards; consistent snowfall from the 30th-31st.
I like the variety of temperatures but Halloween is TOO EARLY for snow. Halloween should still be mild to warm days with coolish nights with frost acceptable. First snow should be between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
