Palm Grove is a small volcanic island in the middle of the ocean, at 58N.
It is named after a beautiful palm grove adorning the main square of its capital. The palms are fake.

Its inhabitants are jovial and welcoming, and aren't affected negatively by the laden skies which bring a copious amount of rain.
Winds blow fiercely and sweep mercilessly the island. The capital however is on the lee side, sheltered by Mt. Fyrthirl.
Mt. Fyrthirl, which peaks at 1751 m a.s.l., is still active. Lava oozes out pretty constantly from its summit and flows into the sea at some distance from the capital. The resulting vapour creates a thick wall of fog that shrouds the capital most of the time.

D+. I can't stand hot weather, but temperatures never getting above 20C are too much cool. It's also too wet and cloudy, but I rather live there than in Dubai-like climate.

F for the climate but A for the imaginative description .

It actually reminds me of one of my fictional climates:

Rate the climate: Everlasting Joy

Ironic name because not a single species of Palm tree has any chance of surviving in this abyss.
