Unfortunately I don't like any of Winnipeg's seasons.
Autumn and spring are too cold, summers cool and rainy. Winters seem really creepy.
I guess it also has an incredible temperature standard deviation and very extreme temperatures all year round.
So I'll rate it F.
Thanks to global warming Winnipeg's climate is actually getting pretty good.
January average high is now -11c/12F, it used to be -14c/7F (nice improvement)
Both December and February average highs are now a decent -8c/18F
Warm half of the year is really nice, lots of sunshine and good temps.
Even April and October are not bad with average highs of 11c/52F,
better than Helsinki which only averages about 8c/46F.
Sounds pretty good, rate it a B overall, even winter precipitation is low there should be nearly always snow on the ground in winter, summer is on average pleasantly warm, though there seem to be a few days each year where the humidity is opressive (looking at the high humidex record values). Only for this reason i rate a B.
