You still have heat + humidity to deal with, and no hurricanes to change weather patterns this year. I presume you are running your AC as I am running my furnace.
The lowest reading from the nearest weather station says it went to 34 (1C) this morning. There was frost on my car this morning as well, but not on the ground. So it must have been close. I believe the car surface loses heat faster than air, though, so it must have reached freezing while the air near the ground did not.
in Nj, 10 miles makes all the difference between below freezing and above freezing. Up here, we were just at freezing today morning. The ground was frozen, and so was my moms car. A couple miles south, the low was above freezing at 35 F.

Likewise, southeast of here probably got a freeze. It looks like it hit 32 in the Millville area, as well as the Vineland airport. The forecast now says -1C for tonight, so we'll see if it finally becomes "official" for my area.
Nope, hopefully it won't happen at all. By the end of Oct/beginning Nov, we have usually had a negative. Not too sure if it's going to happen this year, although we are getting colder next week so we will see.

RWC (Rutgers weather center) should give you a good idea of what's going to happen tonight. We received a freeze watch as temps are predicted to be around 30 F.
This is a great source for NJ climate data and history.
