The Florida one is great for high rainfall and Australia for less sun. Rain is at the top of the "important climate element" list for me so Florida wins.
Florida for sure for being much warmer and sunnier year round and having far more thundestrorms.
BTW, given it's record lows and standard deviation in winter, I bet it would also stand a much better chance of having snow accumulation than the Australian one.

Melbourne, Australia, since it's cooler and the Florida's one is too hot, even in the winter.
