As different as night and day. I would love to live in a continental climate with warm to hot summers (with thunderstorms) and snowy winters.

As it is, I live in a very moderate maritime climate with cool summers (with no thunderstorms) and mild, damp winters with little snowfall.

Spring can be quite nice, though. Although not warm.

My climate is OK, winters need to be colder and snowier with more summer variation

Pretty close for me. I want similar climate to what I have now, but a couple of degrees warmer at night.

Summers fairly similar. Dream climate's winters are insanely colder.

July temps: 89/70 avg real life, about 91/72 in dream climate
January temps: 46/26 avg real life, about 4/-15 in dream climate

Me, I'd like 70-90 degrees and sunny year round.

The one joke about the Pocono Mountains is this:

What do Cher and the Poconos have in common?
A: They both don't got sunny (Sonny)

Not too different.

My "dream climate" summers are slightly cooler and winters warmer. Maybe I'd prefer more sun and less rain, but that's just too spoiled of me I guess (we're rather sunny).

My dream climate is only about 6-7 F cooler in winter and 1-2 F cooler in summer than where I live. It has similar precipitation but more snow, so I'd say not too different.

I'd rate my home climate a B.
