The first video linked me to the Brisbane storm that happened the other day, that looked thrilling to - particularly the underground bit!

The first video is mine from my window at the university! Strong winds 50 km/h from west. In the last seconds I shut the window because of the winds and hail! In a village near the city a roof from a house destroyed!

Was that the recorded speed in the city, or was this the strongest of the storm? Cus 50km/h is approx. 31mph, and that brought a roof down?! That's like the same amount of wind speed that's normal on the western coasts of the UK and Ireland, overreaction, but 31mph is not that bad... But I have been in like 100mph (around 161kph) gusts before so yer maybe I'm just used to those kind of winds living in a crappy country... But yea, the storm does look ferocious and I can see that it could cause a lot of inconvenience and damage?
Did you stop filming because of the strong wind?

In the centre of the city it reached 50 km/h I don 't know here about the wind. But we had generally high gusts in the basin. Also near the city we had a tornado that destroyed roofs. And rain rates of 100 mm/h always and sometimes it was >200 mm/h . Epic thunderstorm! :P Yes I stopped filming due to storng winds and hail with rain! I had my window opened and tha rain got into my room as you see. The wind pushed me inside at the last seconds. :P

I don 't know if this is the dullest but as you see the sunshine is very low for Greece. Ioannina generally has 2100 hours per year as normal. The level of the lake also increased and the city had many floods this year and many of them at the islet in the lake.

I was not a student in Ioannina at 2010 so I didn 't experience this dullness and wetness! God!

D+ for those overcast chilly winters (how much sun do they get in winter and are there warm spells of 65 F+ multiple times, if so it could bump up the grade). The + is for the warm summers that at least get some rain (hopefully some in the form of warm thunderstorms) unlike some other Mediterranean climates
