I think it should have reached 90 F today. It was 95.5 F this afternoon in CNJ, so NYC must have been around 90 F.

JFK hit 91. But I understand that you're referring to Central Park.

As promised. Latest GFS Data for NYC .. I don't even see a "decent" chance of hitting it next 2 weeks. Maybe early July at best.

Its 88 F here now in CNJ, and yesterday's low was 76 F. I think tonight we will be seeing Chennai like conditions.

That forecast looks rather for cool for late June, we might getting close to 2009 levels of summer cool.

Haha well chennai hits the upper 90s to low 100s and lows in mid 80s so.... still a long way from that =D

Latest GFS: No 90s north of D.C until July 2nd. July 2nd & 3rd only reach as far north as central NJ.

So it's looking like it will be almost 3 decades for NYC going this long without 90s..

Although I appreciate we are a frost hollow in the winter, it some with a price to pay. We heat up fast in summer and are often one of the hottest places in NJ during heat waves.
