June 24 passes. No 90 yet. But the period of July 1-July 4 continues to be on the table for the chance to happen.

Here's latest GFS for July 2nd max .

Uh Oh.... new developments in recent model runs... they are backing off the heat idea north of Philly. Just what this summer is all about. Stunted 90s in the northeast. Will continue through July.

Here's the latest GFS18z warmest timeframe which is July 1st & 2nd.
However NYC still falls short of 90s.

Here's hr150

I'm seeing where NYC hit atleast 89 on June 17 and June 18. I'm sure some weather station in NYC hit 90 or higher. Therefore, this thread should be over with. Move on.

Out of the three major climate sites, only JFK reached 90F (91F on 18 June). Central Park, the focus of the discussion here, and even LGA didn't make it.

Yea but Cambium did not originally intend for it to be Central Park. She later changed it so the thread could go on and on because NYC had already hit 90 in some locations. Cambium just tries to find anything she can to prove that it's cold up there in the north east. For instance, when she says uh oh in her last post on this thread it contradicted her every move because she loves cold weather! Just saying, not trying to troll or anything.

First off, Cambium has a beard .

Second point is that NYC over here implies central park, not JFK. Taking JFK readings is as good as comparing temps in Newark to Central Park, because there is that much variation.

When I say or think of NYC, I don't IMMEDIATELY think Central Park.
