It just last so long though. If the gloom and incessant drizzle only lasted a couple of months I could take it.

Dallas wins, no contest. Seattle is boring.

Seattle for the more substantial winter snows and pleasant (not hellacious like Dallas most of the time) summers with a significant chance of rain, unlike much of where people in California live. If this were a choice between SF/LA/SD and DFW instead, then probably DFW. I even heard there are enough evergreens to keep a somewhat green tint in the winter in that part of the PNW.

I voted for Dallas due to more sun and a better winter.

Seattle easily. Summers in Dallas are absolutely intolerable. I already live in a cloudier climate than Seattle and I'm sure that clouds are not that bad - not nearly as bad as heat, anyway.

Seattle in every possible way.

Though it has occurred to me that Dallas (some winters) might be a better place for snow. Still, I'd choose Seattle in winter over Dallas because I wouldn't want to experience one of those winter heat waves...

Yeah a handful of cold snowy days is not worth being miserable all summer. Seattle can get some cold and snow, though perhaps a little more infrequently than Dallas.
