I prefer Bandung. Pekanbaru is too humid and hot, also too wet and gloomy.

Its according to my googling.

According to weatheronline pekanbaru averaged 1374 hrs, bandung according to weather-and-climate averaged about 3,000 hrs.

Maybe because of the high precipitiation. I haven't see the numbers of precipitation day though.

Bandong sounds like a very nice climate then, thought it would be more cloudy since it gets more rain.

Pekanbaru is so humid though. Realfeel can up to 8C/15F higher than actual temp!!!
So 33C/91F can feel like 41C/106F there. And its so common there.

Obviously Bandung. I'm surprised Pekanbaru is not hotter given its inland location, but perhaps one can thank all that rain.

@Qilin34 : But the heat index very often exceed 100F, even 110, let alone low 90s temp.
