Pressure rapidly rising (13 mb since the 20Z reading) and temps plummeting; after an afternoon high of 30F due to SW winds, should be subzero before midnight. A subzero high tomorrow would be the first since Jan 1994 and make this month only the second Feb on record (Feb 1899 being the first) to match that feat.

Washington Dulles reporting Heavy snow now with a wind chill of 12° visibility 1/8 mile.
WERE THEY SUPPOSED TO GET HEAVY SNOW??? This thing developed much south! Was supposed to be over NYC right now. Storm is South of Philly.

COLD 850mb temps pushing east no worries about Precip Type. Except a dry lull coming for few hours maybe.

National weather Service in indianapolis forecasting lows overnight to be near zero, quite an impressive arctic airmass given its mid February now the record low for tomorrow morning is 8 below zero in indianapolis and that record low was set in 1875.

Depressingly, it had stopped snowing earlier. But now I look outside and it's snowing rather hard and everything is covered in snow.

Heavy snow & strong winds. May turn out to be short-lived, but I'll enjoy it while it's here. Beautiful weather.

Ground blizzards going on here. Winds gusting over 40mph and sustained over 20mph .... snow is whipping around everywhere.

Just finished shoveling my measley 2" of snow with just a long sleeve shirt and a sweatshirt and snow blowing in my face.. Love it. Hasn't felt like the coast here for a while now.

Im at the low for the day and dropping. North winds!
