It's so hard to fill this table out for Swedish climate data

Have to go through a pdf for each month of the year, one for temperature and one for precipitation and sunshine hours.

What was the French climate site that was a bit like TuTiempo, but with accurate data called?

Never mind, they don't have it for the station there, what other sites publish accurate monthly data, the SMHI method takes too long :/

Don't they just post the daily statistics for that month, and you have to calculate the average highs, precipitation etc yourself?....

Yes, you do, but generally speaking it's more accurate than TuTiempo.

Wow that February was absolutely frigid. Coldest February at Chicago/MDW was in 1936 13.6F/-10.2C.

January 1987 was very frigid too! March 2006 was abnormally cold too

An average low of -11.3C (March 2006) here in my home city/town of Örebro. I think it's still possible we can beat the 1985/1987 cold, at least an average minimum of -15C in the near future

Also, Chicagogeorge, whats the lowest average minimum January, February and December have each recorded in Chicago?

For the city of Chicago I prefer Midway airport which has a longer POR than ORD, (and continuous data since 1928):

Midway:

Dec: 9.9F/-12.3C (1963)
Jan:1.9F/-16.7C (1977)
Feb: 4.0F/-15.6C (1936)

Comparison to western suburb Aurora 28 miles from Midway
(Aurora records going back to 1901)

Dec:5.3F/-14.8C (1963)
Jan:-1.8F/-18.8C (1977)
Feb: 2.1F/-16.6C (1936)

North suburban Barrington has shown some incredible extreme minimums, but their POR is not long.

Wow! January has impressive records for Aurora and Barrington! The coldest average mean Stockholm has recorded is -14.3C in 1814, so I'm guessing the average minimum for that month was similar to Aurora and Barrington.

-12C is the coldest average mean for January since 1900.
(These are all from Stockholm Observatory)
