Despite its location, it has six months of rather pleasant weather and only three months of extremely hot weather. I can see why the ISIS folks chose this as their 'capital' city - it is one of the 'cooler' smaller cities in the Middle East.

ISIS is one scary group, the climate hot but not unbearable with nights usually cool and no humidty, B-.

I would never go there. The climate sucks (voted F), and my ethnicity is of at most hatred to them.
