Windfall, Alberta -54 below (propane stays liquid) and two weeks of more than -40 below F.
Tulsa, Oklahoma 100 F above with a hot wind; no idea how that affects temp. other than higher!

Both in 1962!

A few summers ago it was around 105 degrees F in the Twin Cities.
Last winter it was about -25 degrees F in the Twin Cities.

So hottest and coldest place is the same place for me. All I had to do was step outside my house!

Kuwait.

Maryland last winter when it got down -3° and I had to go to work in the morning and the car doors were sealed shut.

And I've been to some 40 states, a half dozen Canadian provinces and a dozen countries, but never the cold places such as Minnesota during winter. Did ski in Wyoming this past winter, but I don't remember it getting as low as -3°F

I think it was high 30's in Iceland in August (with the sun still up around 10pm) when I went, but that was an atypically cold day for them and windy. Kuwait the day prior would've been in the 125°F range (and when it gets down to mid 70's at night people start shaking because their bodies can't get used to that kind of drop that fast even though it's still "warm" it doesn't feel that way)
