Cool. What model is it? I've got a min/max thermometer which is actually accurate and I'm collecting my data and the official data in a spreadsheet. It's an eyeopener. Almost a completely different climate amongst the river and wetland network here. Fascinating stuff. Starting to get muggy out here with all this warm waters. I need to find something that measures humidity.

Very interesting differences, just by being on the river. How cool is that? Do you prefer the lower diurnal ranges?
I'm pretty indifferent. But yeah I never imagined how big the differences are. I should post some pics of my area an aerial view to show the difference of the land here and at the airport. The airport is on a flat prairie with minimal vegetation, here there is more vegetation along with the wetlands which retains heat.

18C in Melbourne at 11:30pm and 31C in Adelaide. There is no god
Here at my place at 11:30pm it is 30C and 24C at Renmark Airport. Was unbelievably humid earlier but now a warm breeze has kicked up and killed the humidity and increased the temp. It's actually a lot more comfortable now.
A breeze has kicked up and thankfully killed the ridiculous humidity here at my place. Temp went up from 27C to 30C but it's actually much more pleasant outside now.

Easily prefer 17.7°C. **** having 32°C now, that's stupid.

I thought you liked it warm
It is hot outside now, but atleast the breeze has kicked in and it's dry. The humidity after sunset today was ****ing ridiculous. Beyond belief. Could easily pass for a summer evening in Cairns, Broome or Darwin. Infact, it was similar to stepping off the plane in Abu Dhabi back in early Sept when I went to Hungary.
Tomorrow evening is going to be an absolute BASTARD of a night if the wind drops off.
The low so far in Adelaide is 30.8C, almost 1am with any luck it won't drop below that but not holding my breath. Still, will be a hot night. They are forecast to only drop to 28C tomorrow night, so will be interesting.
