I hear Istanbul has a borderline Mediterranean climate and humid subtropical climate.

Stockholm: Cfb-Dfb
Lugano: Cfa-Cfb
Trondheim: Cfc-Dfc

Theoreticaly, it could be possible with some weird cfc-dfc-cfb-dfb mix. Trondheim comes pretty close, but there has to be better examples.

Well, yes and no. Miami studdles the Am and Af line actually (Fort Lauderdale being tropical rainforest, might as well include the city in the transitional list, too) so you are right Miami is a transitional city, but not what you thought. I wonder how many people knew that? But, this is just according to Köppen, though, as Fort Lauderdale meets his threshold for Af

it's lies in the semi-tropical zone which itself is a transitional zone.

Yes, I know Köppen is kryptonite on this forum when it comes to classifying US climates, but let's face it. His maps are the most referenced in this day and age
