Miami studdles the Am and Af line actually (Fort Lauderdale being tropical rainforest, might as well include the city in the transitional list, too) so you are right Miami is a transitional city, but not what you thought. Yes, I know Köppen is kryptonite on this forum when it comes to classifying US climates, but let's face it. His maps are the most referenced in this day and age
