Haven't had time to check, there is no such normal, so would have to check each year...my guess for average annual low/ abs low would be from -13c to -19c

B-

January is good - plenty of cold and snow.

Other winter months are not snowy enough.

July and August are a bit too hot: 33C at that latitude is unexpected and unwelcome imo!

Too dry, overall.

B-. Better (warmer) than average summer, some snowy periods in winter help it out. December is garbage though.

Weidehond, I managed to find some approximate figures for the monthly sunshine hours, added them in now

All I can say is 2014 was a gloomy year.

Anyone changing their rating now?

I'm knocking my rating down to a C+. Good grief. Jan, Feb, Oct, Nov, and Dec look way too gloomy.

Most people would now I gave it a D because the winter months were not cold enough this year. On top of the gloominess, there was a lack of snow apart from in January

The yearly total is not gloomy Rams_Lord!
The only problem in 2014 was the distribution over the year (okt/nov/jan feb are indeed gloomy, the rest of the year isn't)

I bring back my rating to C-
